1. About Bina Finance

Bina Finance Sdn Bhd (SSM No. 002384761-K) is a financial education provider registered in Malaysia, with its principal place of business at 17, Jalan Pudu, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan. Our programmes provide financial literacy education for adults. We do not provide financial advice, investment advice, or any form of regulated financial service.

2. Programmes offered

Bina Finance currently offers three programmes:

• Household Finance Foundation — eight sessions, Wednesday evenings, MYR 1,580 per participant.
• Capital Allocation in Late Career — four sessions, Saturday mornings, MYR 1,140 per participant.
• Half-Day Reading Workshop — one Saturday session of approximately four hours, MYR 460 per participant.

Programme details, session dates, and faculty are published on our website. We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to session content, teaching faculty, or schedule for operational reasons. Material changes that affect your ability to attend will be communicated with at least fourteen days' notice.

3. Enrolment

A place on a programme is confirmed when:

1. You have submitted an enrolment request through our website or by telephone, and
2. Full payment of the programme fee has been received by Bina Finance.

We operate small cohorts. Places are allocated in order of confirmed payment. Submitting an enrolment request does not itself reserve a place.

4. Fees and payment

Programme fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of all teaching materials. Payment is by bank transfer to the account details provided at the time of enrolment confirmation. We do not process card payments through our website.

Fees cover teaching, all session materials, and thirty days of written faculty support following the final session. They do not cover any textbooks recommended but not distributed, travel, or refreshments unless explicitly stated.

5. Cancellation and refunds

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Fourteen or more days before the first session: Full refund of the programme fee, less a MYR 50 administrative charge.
• Seven to thirteen days before the first session: Fifty percent of the programme fee, refunded within fourteen working days.
• Fewer than seven days before the first session: No refund. Where possible, we will offer a transfer of your place to a future cohort of the same programme, subject to availability.
• After the programme has commenced: No refund is provided for sessions already delivered. If you are unable to continue for medical reasons supported by documentation, we will consider a pro-rata credit toward a future programme on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds are processed by bank transfer to the originating account within fourteen working days of your written cancellation notice.

6. Programme cancellation by Bina Finance

We reserve the right to cancel a programme cohort if the minimum enrolment threshold is not met, or in circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In the event of cancellation by Bina Finance, you will receive a full refund of the programme fee within fourteen working days, or the option to transfer to a future cohort.

7. Conduct and participation

Our programmes are designed for adults who wish to learn in a collegial, respectful environment. We ask all participants to:

• Treat faculty and fellow participants with courtesy.
• Refrain from recording sessions without the written consent of all present.
• Not share programme materials, worked examples, or written notes with individuals who have not enrolled.

Bina Finance reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme — without refund — if their conduct materially disrupts the learning environment or causes distress to others.

8. Intellectual property

All programme materials — including workbooks, reading packs, slides, and written faculty notes — are the intellectual property of Bina Finance Sdn Bhd. They are provided for the personal educational use of enrolled participants and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without written permission.

9. Not financial advice

Bina Finance provides financial education. Nothing taught in our programmes, communicated by our faculty, or published on our website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or any form of regulated financial service under Malaysian law. Participants are encouraged to consult qualified, licensed professionals before making financial decisions. Bina Finance accepts no liability for financial decisions made by participants on the basis of programme content.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Bina Finance's liability to any participant is limited to the amount of the programme fee paid by that participant. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation in or withdrawal from a programme.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Privacy

We collect and use personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010. By enrolling, you consent to the processing of your personal information for the purposes described in that policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

13. Changes to these terms

We review these terms periodically and update them when our practices or legal requirements change. The version published on our website at the time of your enrolment applies to your participation in that programme. We will not apply material changes retroactively to confirmed enrolments.
